Case Study
My client stepped into a new role as a department lead. I was initially consulted to support him in developing his leadership, yet we soon discovered a deep-seated fear of being seen as a tyrant if he led with any authority. To overcompensate for his fear, which was rooted in internal struggles around anxiety and self-doubt, he adopted a passive leadership style. He is now learning skills that empower him to unravel those stories and become more empowered, both at work and in his personal life.

Case Study
The President of the company asked me to work with a manager who perpetually generated conflicts and tension. They were deciding whether or not they should even continue working with him. He was angry, argumentative, and in constant conflict, which was directly impacting the company’s productivity. From his defensive emotional posture, he was strongly resistant to my support. Yet as I gently persisted and slowly earned his trust and respect, he found the strength to open up and recognize the painful source of his difficulties. We worked through personal shame stories, anger, and resentment, and transforming that created a marked shift in his ability to lead. Our work also extended into his personal life, enabling him to begin healing family relationships.

Case Study
The head of the Sales Department asked me to meet with a member of his team who had received a fairly poor review. She had been stunned to learn how negatively she was perceived by the team, so we examined specifics from the review to understand what was going on. Based on those details, I recommended she take a Non-Violent Communication course for her to gain helpful tools. She learned what drove her grating style, and empowered through our 1:1 work, she transformed from an aggressive communicator into being an open and supportive colleague. The President recognized her efforts, and as a result of her tremendous changes, he asked her to develop a Non-Violent Communication training to present to the entire company.
